Helping families take one step closer to Christ

“Our mission at Family Refuge is to empower and equip families with the tools for healthy relationships and access to community resources, enabling them to overcome challenging situations.”

“We believe that healthy relationships are essential for healing and that no one should face life's difficulties alone.”

  • Aug 2024 - exact opening day is not set but once you have received confirmation of your child’s enrollment an exact date will be given.

  • Children ages 6 weeks - through the summer before starting kindergarten. All children must have current vaccinations. Parents of enrolled children will be required to show proof of employment or in school. Families will also be required to participate in family based activities and school gatherings to retain their enrollment. All of this will be fun and covered in our Family Meeting before a child starts school.

  • Your children will be engaged in learning throughout the day. Our teachers will focus not only on the needed skills to become a good student academically but help the child gain skills needed to be healthy socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We know how important it is to encourage and support these little ones in all areas of their growth and development. A weekly lesson plan will be posted on the parent board and sent through our app weekly.

  • All families enrolled in Family Refuge will need to receive a CCDF Childcare voucher.

This should cover the full cost of childcare fees for your family. If there's a remaining copay our Director will share that with you.

  • Family Refuge will be feeding your children 2 meals and 1 snack each day. These will be a morning snack, lunch, and dinner. A hearty snack will be served around arrival each day, lunch around 11:30 am and dinner served around 4 pm. Children are given milk with all snacks/ meals and water is available at all times.

  • Yes - we will cover all this at our Parent Meeting after your enrollment but here is a short list.

Change of clothes that will be kept at school, diapers (if needed), and formula (if needed).

  • YES! We are a state licensed ministry, and we will follow all standards from a policy and staff certification/background check procedure. Our facility will remain locked at all times unless posted and will be communicated to parents. Drop off is 8:15-8:30 am and pick up time is 4:15-4:30 pm. Families will have to be let in by accessing an exterior buzzer if arrival is not during the drop off or pick up times.
